What's the story of your band?
We were some people who weren't in a band together, then we started one. The bassist and drummer left and were replaced by The Others from Lost (do they have that show in Scotland? If not, please replace "The Others" with Daleks, or "William Wallace's army in Braveheart" or "Oor Wully". Pets have come and gone and some of us have moved. Albums have been released and tours have been attemped.
What's the best thing about being a Brutal Knight?
The parts where we're living our lives outside of doing the band. Also, writing the lyrics and making the band angry at how stupid the things I'm singing are. Having them veto songs about Baby Wipes while supporting songs about being basically an adult baby.
Are you psyched for your Europe tour?
We are psycho for doing our Europe tour! It's going to be crazy but fun, like your friend's dad, or perhaps your dad's friend.
You lost a bassist after 18 days of touring. How are you going to survive 5 weeks?
We're just gonna think about how bad our boys in the military have it, while eating delicious sandwiches. That should probably keep things on an even keel. Also, we hug this bassist more.
Is this your first tour outside America?
No. Second European tour. The first time we went was extreme. We learned a lot about the struggles of European punks. They were nice and treated us well, although they occasionally pranked us. One time they took us to a focus group instead of a concentration camp!!!!?
What are you looking forward to most?
Finding out what Macedonia is, and eventually coming home and cleaning my room. I will put up a map of Macedonia on my wall upon return.
What's your next release going to be?
Total Rebellion. European release, then we add a bit more to it and put it out on American soil. It will be dedicated to the Obama administration and the concept of Hope as an aphrodisiac. The cover will be bukkake-oriented and scratch n' sniff.
